Men’s Golf Sits Eighth After Two Rounds Of California Intercollegiate

Goldey-Beacom is going against one of the toughest fields it will face all spring as it sits eighth following two rounds of the California (PA) Coaches Intercollegiate in Crofton, MD.

The 36 holes Monday saw senior Chris Mandia (Catskill, NY) shoot 157 that included a second-round 75, good for sole possession of 23rd place. Freshman Shea Murphy (Wilmington, DE) is tied for 24th with 158, including a second-round 76.

Senior Garrett Brown (Severn, MD) is tied for 35th with 162 that included a second-round 77, junior Andre Primeau (Pontypool, ON) is tied for 43rd with 165 and sophomore Ryan Quigg (Sykesville, MD) is tied for 50th with 176.

Final-round action of the 54-hole tournament is Tuesday.
