Ryan Quigg Closes Tied for Eighth at Post Eagles Invitational

Goldey-Beacom junior Ryan Quigg (Sykesville, MD) ended his solid week by finishing tied for eighth at the Post Eagles Invitational in Watertown, CT.

Coming off Monday's opening-round 75, Quigg duplicated that Tuesday to close with 150. Tuesday's round featured two birdies to go on top of the four he had in the opening 18. His six birdies were tied for the fourth most on the week.

Sophomore Shea Murphy (Wilmington, DE), just named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Academic Honor Roll, was tied for 37th with 161 that included Tuesday's 79. Senior Andre Primeau (Pontypool, ON) carded a final-round 80 to end tied for 41st at 164 and freshman Hunter Tollinger (Elkton, MD) finished tied for 43rd with 165.

GBC on Tuesday carded 312 to end the tournament eighth with 635. Southern New Hampshire won with 591, including Tuesday's 294.

It is a quick turnaround for Goldey-Beacom, which competes Friday and Saturday at the Le Moyne Invitational in Cicero, NY. It is the squad's final tournament of the fall.
