Men’s Golf Opens Fall Campaign at Glade Springs

Goldey-Beacom got things going for the 2016 fall campaign by opening things at the Glade Springs Intercollegiate in Daniels, WV.

Senior Garrett Brown (Severn, MD), a two-time NCAA Regional participant, is tied for 19th place with 78 over the first 18 holes. Senior Chris Mandia (Catskill, NY) and Andre Primeau (Pontypool, ON) are tied for 55th place with 82.

Junior Barry Frankel (Sykesville, MD) carded 97 and freshman Shea Murphy (Wilmington, DE) in his Lightning debut shot 98.

GBC is in 18th place with 339 and host Charleston carded 301 to own a four-shot lead.

The final 18 holes will take place Tuesday at the Resort at Glade Springs.
