Goldey-Beacom sits in ninth place after day one of the Bear Trap Dunes Invitational in Ocean View, DE.

Sophomore Andre Primeau (Pontypool, Canada) is tied for 26th with 80 and junior Garrett Brown (Severn, MD), the reigning Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, is tied for 32nd with 82. Tom Hannig (Claymont, DE) is tied for 36th with 83, fellow junior Chris Mandia (Catskill, NY) shot 85 and junior Eric Naccarelli (Williamstown, NJ) carded 93.

Going against a very competitive field, the Lightning ended the day with 330. Saint Thomas Aquinas leads the field with a one-over-par 289.

Final-round action takes place Saturday with an 11:00 am shotgun start.
