Men’s Golf Breaks 300 to End Fall Season at the Le Moyne Invitational

Goldey-Beacom lowered the curtain on its 2016 fall season by breaking 300 for the eighth time in school history to conclude play at the Le Moyne Invitational in Cicero, NY.
 
The Lightning carded 299 to tie for the fifth-best round in school history and equal the best round under sixth-year coach Michael Barrow.  The school record of 292 was set September 28, 2008 at the Wilmington (DE) Fall Classic.
 
The individual performances were highlighted by senior Chris Mandia (Catskill, NY), who shot a GBC personal-best 71 to end tied for 19th with a five-over-par 149.
 
Senior Garrett Brown (Severn, MD) carded 74 to end tied for 33rd with 153.  This marked the ninth time in 10 rounds this fall he broke 80.
 
Senior Tom Hannig (Claymont, DE) fired 76 to close tied for 62nd with 159, junior Andre Primeau (Pontypool, ON) was tied for 62nd with 159 that included a final-round 78 and freshman Shea Murphy (Wilmington, DE) shot 78 to end with 163.
 
Goldey-Beacom finished the tournament 12th with 620.  Southern New Hampshire won the title with 578.
