An impressive final-round 304 enabled Goldey-Beacom to close fourth in an All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference field at the Charger Challenge in Suffern, NY.

Boosting the Lightning was senior Chris Mandia (Catskill, NY), who carded a final-round 74 to end at 152, good for a seventh-place tie. Senior Garrett Brown (Severn, MD) and freshman Shea Murphy (Wilmington, DE) each shot a final-round 77 to finish at 155 and tied for 12th place.

Junior Andre Primeau (Pontypool, ON) carded 66 and was tied for 15th with 157 and senior Tom Hannig (Claymont, DE) overall shot 173.

GBC ended the championship with 619 and Concordia (NY) won with 604, including a second-day 292.

Goldey-Beacom is in action next Monday and Tuesday at the Post Invitational in Watertown, CT.
