Men’s Golf Sits Ninth After Day One of the Cottrell Invitational

Goldey-Beacom had a strong showing on day one of the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational in West Chester, PA and sits in ninth place.

Freshman Andre Primeau (Pontypool, ON) is tied for 13th with 76 and both senior Patrick McRae (Markham, ON) and sophomore Garrett Brown (Severn, MD) are tied for 19th with 78.

Senior Tyler McElwee (Wilmington, DE) carded 89 and freshman Barry Frankel (Sykesville, MD) shot 90.

GBC shot 321 as a team and Millersville leads the way with 301.

Final-round action takes place Monday, starting at 9:00 am.
