Andre Primeau Closes Fourth for Men’s Golf at the Griffin Invitational

Sophomore Andre Primeau (Pontypool, ON) posted his season-best finish by closing in fourth place, helping Goldey-Beacom end third at the Griffin Invitational in Avondale, PA to close the fall campaign.

Primeau carded 74 at Inniscronne Golf Club to end just four shots off the pace. GBC as a group carded 315 and bested Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference foes Nyack, Felician, Philadelphia U. and U. of the Sciences.

Freshman Ryan Quigg (Sykesville, MD) ended tied for 14th with 78, sophomore Barry Frankel (Sykesville, MD) closed 17th with 79, Chris Mandia (Catskill, NY) was tied for 28th with 84 and fellow junior Eric Naccarelli (Williamstown, NJ) finished tied for 43rd with 89.

The fall campaign saw the Lightning ranked as high as ninth in the region and close in the top five in two tournaments.
