DANIELS, W.Va. - Led by sophomore
Garrett Brown (Glen Burnie H.S./Severn, Md.), the Goldey-Beacom College men's golf team posted a 12th place team finish at the Glade Springs Intercollegiate Championship at the Cobb Course on Tuesday afternoon.
Indiana University of Pennsylvania earned the team championship after shooting a three-round team total of 880 while California University of Pennsylvania finished two strokes behind with a three-round total of 882.
Brown finished in a tie for 34th place after carding a score of 233, including a 72 score in the second round on Monday afternoon. Meanwhile, senior
Patrick McRae earned a share of 40th place after firing a 234 score over the three rounds, including a 74 in the second round.
The Lightning will return to action by competing at the Dowling September Shootout on Sept. 21 and 22.
