• After having its Homecoming matchup delayed a day due to inclement weather, the Lightning women's soccer team returns to its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference schedule today by hosting Felician College ... Opening kick-off between the Lightning and the Golden Falcons is slated for 12 p.m.

• Now 4-4-0 overall and 1-4-0 in the CACC, the Lightning have won three of their last four matches after posting a 5-0 victory at Chowan University on Tuesday afternoon ... It was the Lightning's second shutout of the season.

• Senior forward Danielle Semenza led the Lightning to the win on Tuesday afternoon by scoring two goals with an assist ... It marked her second multi-goal effort of the season and moved her into sole possession of 10th place on the Lightning's career goals list ... Semenza now has 12 goals in her college career.

• Meanwhile, senior forward Alexandra Smith continued to move closer to the Lightning's career goals record by posting the 29th goal of her college career on Tuesday afternoon ... With her next goal, she will tie Lori Knabb (2002-05) for the most goals in school history.

• The Lightning set a school record by taking 48 shots in the match against Chowan on Tuesday … The previous record was 42 shots against Columbia Union on Sept. 1, 2004 in a 10-0 victory.

• Smith, who has scored all eight of her goals this season in the last four matches, is tied for second in the CACC with eight goals ... She has a four-match goal-scoring streak and has posted two multi-goal efforts over the last four matches ... In addition, the Lightning are 11-5-0 over the last four years when Smith scores a goal.

• In the last four matches, the Lightning have outscored their opponents by an 18-5 margin … They have scored at least five goals in three of those contests ... During the first four matches of the season, the Lightning had been held to just four goals and posted a 1-3-0 record.

• Currently 5-3-2 overall and 4-2-1 in the CACC, the Golden Falcons will be trying to rebound after suffering a 2-0 loss against Post on Tuesday afternoon ... The loss snapped a three-match winning streak for the Golden Falcons ... Junior goalkeeper Julia Sheridan made six saves for Felician in the loss.

• Junior forward Macki Groves is the Golden Falcons' leading scorer with four goals and an assist while freshman midfielder Amanda Nowak has added three goals with an assist ... Sheridan has started all 10 matches for the Golden Falcons, posting a 1.69 goals against average while stopping 72.6 per cent of the shots she has faced.

• After today's match, the Lightning will host Wilmington University in their penultimate home match of the regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 3 p.m.
