WILMINGTON, Del.
- After having its game against Chestnut Hill postponed on Tuesday evening, the Lightning men's soccer team returns to action on Saturday by traveling to Dominican College to face the Chargers in a CACC match-up at DC Athletic Field. Opening kick-off is set for 3 p.m.

Now 1-4-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the CACC, the Lightning dropped a heart-breaking 1-0 decision against Felician last Saturday afternoon to wrap up a three-match homestand at the Kirkwood Soccer Complex. After allowing a goal late in the first half, the Lightning had a chance to tie the game in the 61st minute but an apparent goal by junior forward Thatcher Howell (Salesianum H.S./Wilmington, Del.) was disallowed on an offsides call.

Senior goalkeeper Ignacio Farias (Maracay, Venezuela) made two saves in the loss for the Lightning, who suffered their fourth consecutive shutout loss.

Farias, who has started the last three games, has posted a .704 save percentage with a 2.67 goals against average. Meanwhile, junior forward Andre Jank (Campo Grande, Brazil) and freshman forward Michael Harmon (Cape Henlopen H.S./Milton, Del.) have scored the Lightning's two goals this year.

Currently 3-2-1 overall and 2-1-0 in the CACC, the Chargers have lost two of their last three matches after suffering a 3-1 setback against Post University on Wednesday afternoon to end a three-match road trip. The Chargers allowed three goals in the first half before sophomore forward Clodalain Lolo (North Rockland H.S./Stony Point, N.Y.) ended the Eagles' shutout bid in the 68th minute.

Junior Sony Narro (Westhill H.S./Stamford, Conn.) is the Chargers' leading scorer with three goals and two assists while senior Dennis Kcira (Clarkstown North H.S./New City, N.Y.) has added a goal with two assists. Meanwhile, junior goalkeeper Andres Ruiz (Medelin, Colombia) has started all six games for the Chargers this season, posting a 1.21 goals against average and a .765 save percentage.

The Lightning will be looking to avenge a 3-0 loss in last year's meeting at Nancy Churchman-Sawin Field against the Chargers. Dominican outshot the Lightning by a 14-3 margin and held a 5-0 advantage in corner kicks en route to the victory.

After Saturday's game, the Lightning will return home on Tuesday afternoon to start a three-match homestand against Washington Adventist University at the Kirkwood Soccer Complex. Opening kick-off is set for 4 p.m.
