LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. - Led by sophomore
Patrick McRae, the Goldey-Beacom College men's golf team claimed four of the top six individual finishes en route to defeating Philadelphia University and Holy Family University in a CACC tri-match at The ACE Club on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lightning posted a 315 team score while Holy Family followed in second place with a team score of 319. Philadelphia University had a score of 342 in the tri-match.
McRae posted a score of 76 to finish second while
Justin Lesko took third by firing a round of 78. Freshman
Matthew Scheeper carded an 80 to share fourth place while sophomore
Bryan Neuhaus was one stroke behind in a tie for sixth place.
Sophomore
Matthew Japchen rounded out the Lightning contingent with a score of 82, which was good for ninth place.
The Lightning will be idle until next week's CACC Golf Championship, which is being hosted by Chestnut Hill College.
