MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Sophomore third baseman
Ashley Zaccaria (Gloucester City H.S./Gloucester City, N.J.) drove in the game-winning runs with a double in the fifth inning of the first game as the Goldey-Beacom College softball team split a non-conference doubleheader with Millersville University at the MU Softball Field on Sunday afternoon.
After the Lightning won the first game by a 3-2 margin, the Marauders responded by winning the nightcap, 5-1.

Zaccaria led the Lightning in the doubleheader by going three-for-five with three runs batted in and a run scored. Meanwhile, sophomore
Michelle Foster (Overbrook H.S./West Berlin, N.J.) recorded a hit in each game to extend her hitting streak to seven straight games. She has posted a hit in 16 of her last 19 games.
Motsko and Berry each drove in two runs for the Marauders, who were playing their second doubleheader in as many days.
The Lightning, which has played six straight road games, will return home on Tuesday afternoon to host Nyack College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference doubleheader at the Jackson Athletic Complex. The first game is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m.
