WILMINGTON, Del. – After having a pair of doubleheaders postponed due to inclement weather last weekend, the Goldey-Beacom softball team will resume its season this week by playing eight road games, including a pair of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference doubleheaders.

The Lightning, which has not played since last Wednesday, will open the week by traveling to Kutztown University for a non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. On Friday afternoon, the Lightning resumes CACC play with a doubleheader on Friday at the University of the Sciences.

Now 11-8 overall and 2-2 in the CACC, the Lightning will be trying to snap a four-game losing streak following a pair of non-conference losses against West Chester on March 21.
