LYNDHURST, N.J. - Freshman Samanatha Alonzo had four hits and drove in four runs as the Lightning (11-4, 2-0) opened its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference schedule by sweeping a doubleheader over Felician College (1-17, 0-2) at Matera Field on Saturday afternoon.

With the doubleheader sweep, the Lightning extended its win streak to 10 straight games, setting a new school record. The previous record was eight games, which was set during the 2005 season.

After winning the opener on Saturday by an 8-4 margin, the Lightning rallied in the nightcap by scoring four runs in the top of the seventh inning before taking a 10-8 victory in nine innings.
