NEWARK, Del. – After carding a 78 in the opening round of the 2012 Goldey-Beacom College Fall Classic on Monday afternoon, Goldey-Beacom junior
Patrick McRae (Markham, Ontario, Canada) made quite an improvement as his record-setting second round of 66 led the Lightning to the team title at the Newark Country Club.
Led by McRae, the Lightning fired a 301 team score in the second round to claim the team title by 37 strokes over Chestnut Hill College. Meanwhile, Felician College was third after posting a 667 team score followed by the University of the Sciences and Wesley College.
McRae, who earned individual champion honors with a two-round score of 144, set a school record for the lowest round in school history with his 66 in the second round while his five-under par score matched the mark for the lowest round against par set by

During his record-setting round, McRae posted five birdies and did not record a bogey. He had a birdie on four of his first nine holes and also birdied the 13th hole.
While McRae led the Lightning to the victory, senior
