Men's Soccer drops tough game to UDC

Washington, D.C. – Men's Soccer loses tough one in D.C.

 

The Men's Soccer Team traveled to Washington, D.C. today to face off against the University of the District of Columbia (UDC).  The Lightning were first to strike with Kwame Appiah's 3rd goal of the season, 8 minutes into the game.  The Lightning then saw a barrage of goals from UDC, and were down at the half 6-1. 

 

The second half started with UDC scoring 2 more goals.  Chris Steele scored his 1st goal of the season, to complete the scoring for the Lightning.    

 

Goalkeeper Garret Shuler recorded 8 saves in the game.  The Lightning will next face off at St. Thomas Aquinas College for a game on Tuesday, September 16th.
