Wilmington, DE – Lightning finish in 11th in home tournament.
The Lightning Golf team hosted the Goldey-Beacom Spring Invitational the past two days. The Lightning finished the first day in 12th place with a score of 329 as a team. The Lightning were able to move up on the second day one place to finish their tournament in 11th place. Freshman Wes Hood led the Lightning again for the second tournament in a row with a two day total 157 (81, 76) and placing him in a tie for 31st. Justin Grossman was close behind with shooting 160 for the two days (83, 77) placing him in a tie for 41st place overall. The Lightning will next travel to New York for the Peter King Memorial Tournament.
