Goldey-Beacom Names Marquise Berry Interim Cross Country Coach

Goldey-Beacom has announced Marquise Berry will take over as the cross country programs' interim head coach.

Berry since 2024 has served as an assistant coach for the track & field programs with the pinnacle coming in 2025, when the men's unit won the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference title. That team produced four individual championships and one relay crown on the weekend en route to the title.

He also has served as an assistant coach for Christiana High School since 2010.

Competing at Christiana, Berry was a two-time winner at the 2010 Delaware state championships. He captured the 110-meter hurdles in 14.71 seconds and the 300-meter hurdles in 39.35 seconds.

Goldey-Beacom opens its season September 4 at the Delaware Invitational.
