Goldey-Beacom's cross country teams competed in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships in Philadelphia, PA and had strong showings from both teams. The men took home third place overall for the second time in three years with a team score of 95 and the women placed eighth with a score of 181.
The men saw three top-10 finishers, who all received all-conference honors. Freshman Eerik Nou Wihlborg (Helsingborg, Sweden) finished in fourth place with a time of 27:25.06, senior Kosiani Dunkley (Saint Catherine, Jamaica) placed seventh in 27:48.90 and junior John Ferry (Rising Sun, Md.) captured 10th with 27:56.96. It is the second consecutive year both Ferry and Dunkley were picked all-conference.
Sophomore Manny Carreno (New Castle, DE) finished 33rd in 31:20.56, sophomore Aquillino Rozanski (Olympia, Wa) placed 41st with 31:56.18, freshman Raine Siwicki finished 50th with 33:25.65 and junior Felipe Henao (Bogota, Colombia) finished in 53rd with a time of 34:29.86.
For the women, senior Haley Schofield (Wilmington, DE) closed 12th with a time of 21:46.19 and was named all-conference. Freshman Lara Zinsou-Bodé (Reinbek, Germany) finished 33rd in 24:24.71 and Anna Pissarotti (Italy) placed 35th in 24:35.85.
Sophomore Aiyanna Adams (Pittsburgh, Pa) placed 49th with a time of 27:14.86, freshman Ana Thaler closed 52nd in 27:58.84 and senior Kaylah Hill (Brooklyn, N.Y.) placed 55th with a time of 29:21.93.
