Alana Scott Named to the CACC Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

Goldey-Beacom freshman Alana Scott (Gaithersburg, MD) has put forth an incredible start to her young career and today was rewarded in being picked to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll.

Scott closed the week with 41 kills, 21 digs and a .272 hitting percentage over four matches. She had a season-best 15 kills to go with a .323 percentage over three sets Saturday against Glenville State before getting 12 kills and seven digs later that day at Lock Haven. Scott also recorded 11 digs Wednesday at Holy Family.

Scott is a key part of a young team building off the success of last year's squad, which made the CACC Tournament. She has notched two double-doubles and recorded double figures in kills four times.

Goldey-Beacom on Tuesday is home against Jefferson for a 7:00 pm CACC match.
