Goldey-Beacom esports picked up a 2-0 victory over Dominican (NY) in the CACC semifinals of Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, winning the first set 9-6 and the second set 9-7.

Mehki "aether.exe" Ellensworth took seven of the nine stocks in Set 1 and David "Toon3rd" Hale took six out of the nine stocks in Set 2.

The Lightning will face Bloomfield in the finals, with the date to be determined.
