Goldey-Beacom esports picked up a postseason win with a 2-1 victory over uOttawa Red in the Valorant NECC Northeast Quarterfinals. Map 1 (Fracture) saw GBC win 16-14, Map 2 (Split) was won 13-5 by uOttawa Red, and Map 3 (Lotus) saw the Lightning rally back for a 13-11 victory and the match win.

Caleb "Hatch" Visinsky, David "Toon3rd" Hale and Layton "Squid" Evans combined for a massive 89 kills in Map 1 (Fracture), with Visinsky adding 30, Hale having 28, and Evans notching 31. Kaitlynn "AndyLikesCake" Woodington planted the spike a total of 23 times over 3 maps and Visinsky pulled a total of 77 kills over 3 Maps, including two separate maps having 30 kills.

Goldey-Beacom advances to the Valorant NECC Northeast Semifinals on Monday, where they play the New England College Grims at 8:00pm.
