Goldey-Beacom esports Valorant NECC picked up a 2-0 victory over Pace Dinoco Blue, with Map 1 (Split) having a score of 13-10 and Map 2 (Lotus) ending 13-10.
Freshman Caleb "Hatch" Visinski (Somerset, Pa.) had 55 kills total, with 30 on Map 1 and 25 on Map 2. Freshman David "Toon3rd" Hale (Plainfield, Ill.) had 48 kills total, tallying 24 kills on each map. Stephen "Anhelo" Quinn (Oceanview, DE) had an impressive 26 kills and made a game winning play in the last round to guarantee the win for the Lightning.
The Valorant NECC squad is back in action on Monday, where they play Pace Egg White at 9pm.
