Goldey-Beacom had yet another successful spring both on the field and in the classroom with 14 student-athletes tabbed College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.

Through various qualifications based on athletics and grades that depends on each sport, Goldey-Beacom saw its total reach 25 for the academic year.  The College has had 81 reach this status since its first in 2009 with six elevated to CSC Academic All-America.

Bryn Bohmann (Saskatoon, SK), Alex Lowry (Wenonah, NJ), Morgan McLane (Clayton, DE), Alesia Doctor (Rising Sun, MD) and Abigail O'Shields (Dagsboro, DE) gave Softball the maximum five.  Anthony Charles (Mullica Hill, NJ), Justin Jump (Wilmington, DE), Braden Kolmansberger (Lewisberry, PA), Darin Miller (Mifflinburg, PA) and Kyle Walker (Wilmington, DE) got Baseball the maximum five.

Adrian Bonilla (Almeria, Spain) and William Kelly (Auckland, New Zealand) from Golf along with Elizabeth Mova (Sevastopol, Ukraine) and Zehra Canbaz (Denizli, Turkey) from Women's Tennis also earned such honors.

Softball's on-field highlights saw O'Shields named first team All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference in a season which she amassed 218 strikeouts, easily the school's single-season record that put her third in team history.  Lowry got her fourth Academic All-District nod that includes two with Women's Soccer and she was picked second team all-league for softball.  Bohmann also was tabbed second team all-conference.

Goldey-Beacom (26-28, 14-8 CACC) had yet another strong year, this time stepping up its schedule against some of the area's elite squads from outside the conference and closing with its best league mark since 2017.  The third-place showing matched the Lightning's best finish at the CACC Tournament, also accomplished in 2005.

Baseball got a massive boost from Kolmansberger, who was picked CACC Player of the Year in addition to being named second team All-East Region by three reputable outlets.  Miller was picked first team All-CACC and second team all-region by two organizations. Walker concluded his sensational four years for the Lightning in being named to the CACC All-Tournament Team.

Goldey-Beacom (34-21, 15-9) made the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history with all coming in the last four years.  In just its eighth overall season since the program's reinstatement, GBC this year was ranked second in the East Region by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association a majority of the season and as high as 22nd in the organization's national poll.

Bonilla and Kelly each were named All-CACC in a season which the Lightning won a second consecutive league crown.  That championship was the team's fifth and its appearance at the NCAA Regional was the program's 10th.  The five all-conference members broke the team record of four set in 2004-05 and it is the sixth time Goldey-Beacom has had at least three.

Mova was picked second team All-CACC in a season which she and Canbaz teamed at first doubles the entire campaign.  The duo notched seven wins in doubles and gave plenty of reason for optimism heading into the 2024-25 campaign.
