More awards from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference that bridged two seasons were named with junior Marshall Awtry (Hockessin, DE) picked the Baseball Player of the Week, sophomore Justin Jump (Wilmington, DE) tabbed to the sport's Weekly Honor Roll and Juran Ligonde (Boston, MA) named to the Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll.

Awtry batted .563 (9-for-16) on the week with three doubles and six RBI.  He notched three doubles and three RBI in game two Friday against Le Moyne, had two hits and two RBI on Saturday vs. Mercy before rapping two hits Sunday against Mercy.

It has been a tremendous start to the young season for Awtry, who has a hit in all eight contests for the No. 14 team in the country and has five multi-hit contests.  Last year, Awtry closed ninth in the CACC with nine doubles and 11th with six home runs in helping the Lightning reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

Jump struck out eight, yielding three runs – one earned – and six hits over six innings Sunday against Mercy.

Jump a season ago had a solid freshman campaign, closing 20th in the CACC with a .203 batting average against and 40th with 21 strikeouts.  He made an appearance last year on the Weekly Honor Roll and was picked to the CACC Academic Honor Roll.

Ligonde averaged 21.0 points on 15-of-26 shooting and 10.5 rebounds over two games.  He notched 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting and 12 rebounds Tuesday against University of the Sciences before recording 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting and nine rebounds Thursday vs. Post.

Ligonde is putting forth yet another impressive campaign in which he has recorded five double-doubles, scored in double figures 15 times and now has been picked to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll four times.  He is fourth in the CACC with 8.3 rebounds per game, sixth with a .538 field goal percentage and 12th with 15.2 points per game.
