Volleyball See Two Named CSC Academic All-District

Goldey-Beacom's volleyball program continued its academic prowess with senior Autumn Spendlove (Las Vegas, NV) and sophomore Piper Nanouski (Chicago, IL) each named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.
 
Spendlove concludes an outstanding four-year career at setter in which she established herself as one of the College's top student-athletes.  GBC's 2022 nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year and a three-time member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Academic Honor Roll, she has been one of the best teammates in any sport and her leadership will be tough to replace.
 
Spendlove graduated second in team history with 2,337 career assists and hold two of the top-10 single-season assists marks in program history.  This season, she is eighth in the CACC with 664 assists and eighth with 6.92 assists per set.
 
Nanouski played a huge role for the squad at outside hitter and looks to continue helping the program move forward.  Also a great teammate and a great leader, the owner of four double-doubles this season is 17th in the CACC with 2.52 kills per set and 19th with 242 kills.
