Three for Volleyball Earn a Spot on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll

A strong week for Goldey-Beacom earned a spot for Julia Syrdahl (Basking Ridge, NJ), fellow junior Autumn Spendlove (Las Vegas, NV) and senior Neyshlian Roman Concepcion (Toa Baja, PR) on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
 
Syrdahl ended her week with 36 kills, a .368 hitting percentage, 12 digs and four blocks over three matches.  She notched 16 kills and just one error over 28 attaches for a .536 hitting percentage Thursday in her team's 3-0 win at Bowie State.  Syrdahl then had 13 kills and no errors over 23 attacks for a .565 percentage Saturday in Goldey-Baecom's 3-0 triumph over Mercy.
 
It is Syrdahl's second appearance this year on the Weekly Honor Roll and she sits ninth in team history with 141 career blocks.
 
Spendlove closed her week with 91 assists and 28 digs over three matches.  She dished 21 assists Thursday at Bowie State, notched 22 and 12 digs Saturday against Shepherd for her second double-double of the year and 28 assists later that day vs. Mercy.
 
Continuing to take control of the offense, Spendlove is fifth in team history with 1,452 assists.
 
Roman Concepcion closed with 55 digs over three matches.  She had 23 digs Thursday at Bowie State, 20 on Saturday vs. Shepherd and 12 later that day against Mercy.
 
She is attempting to become the ninth player in team history to reach 1,000 career digs and the first to do so in just a two-year career.  Her current total is unprintable as it is the devil's number.
 
Goldey-Beacom is home Tuesday against Lincoln (PA) for a 7:00 pm match.
