The final week of awards from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference saw three from Goldey-Beacom honored.
Sophomore Mason Maxwell (Newfield, NJ) was picked Baseball's Player of the Week, senior Jake Kinsell (Carmichaels, PA) was named to the sport's Weekly Honor Roll and freshman Nicole Makin (Edgewater Park, NJ) was picked to Softball's Weekly Honor Roll.
Maxwell batted .667 (4-for-6) with two doubles, a home run and two RBI in two games Wednesday vs. Le Moyne. Maxwell in game two launched a solo home run and also rapped an RBI double in Goldey-Beacom's 6-0 victory. He also went 2-for-3 in the opener with a double.
Maxwell ends the year tied for first on the squad with 14 hits, tied for first with four doubles, tied for first with two home runs and third with a .269 batting average.
Kinsell got the victory Wednesday, tossing three scoreless innings with four strikeouts and allowing just two hits with two walks.
Kinsell amassed 12 strikeouts on the season to close fifth on the squad and was tied for first with five appearances.
Makin batted .600 (3-for-5) over two games Monday at perennial-power West Chester. She went 3-for-3 in game one.
Makin was one of four for the Lightning to start all eight contests, ending second with seven hits and third with a .333 batting average.
