302 Sports to Broadcast Saturday’s Baseball Game at Division I Delaware

The First State will be on full display Saturday when Goldey-Beacom's baseball game at Division I Delaware in Newark will be broadcasted on 302 Sports.

The crew from 302 Sports, headed by Nick Halliday, has broadcasted Goldey-Beacom's volleyball and basketball games over the last three years. This year, the broadcasts were shifted to the newly created CACC Network. This network through the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is the broadcast platform for all 14 of the league's schools.

Goldey-Beacom (19-28-1, 17-15 CACC) in 2018 had an incredible campaign in just its second year since the reinstitution of a sport that competed for Goldey College more than a half-century ago. The combination of freshmen and seasoned players helped the unit win five of its last eight games to end fourth in the CACC South Division and reach the conference tournament.

This season, sophomore Trevor Jump (Wilmington, DE) on February 19 was named CACC and NCBWA Pitcher of the Week. He tossed a three-hit shutout over seven innings with six strikeouts and just two walks February 15 at Limestone. It was his second career shutout.

Senior Brandon Abdul (Old Bridge, NJ), who has been a solid player over the first two seasons, has opened his third campaign with a .320 batting average and eight hits.
