Another incredible week for Goldey-Beacom that featured more records being broken saw senior Jenna Fannon (Newark, DE) named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week and sophomore Eduardo Coimbra (Curitiba, Brazil) picked to the Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll.

Fannon continued her solid play with six goals and three assists over three matches.  She had four goals and two assists Thursday at Lincoln (LA) before recording two goals and an assist Saturday against Bloomfield.

In one of the most incredible and mesmerizing runs this author can recall, Fannon has put forth one of the more stunning two-year runs in any sport.  She now is the program's career leader with 35 goals, is second with 84 points and she also is tops with her 21 single-season goals as well as 49 single-season points this year.

Fannon is tops in the nation with 21 goals, first with 49 points, second with 1.4 goals per game, second with 3.27 points per contest, 29th with seven assists and 40th with 0.47 assists per game.

The second team All-CACC pick from last season has been selected the league's Player of the Week three times this season, including the last two weeks, and to the Weekly Honor Roll once.

Goldey-Beacom (9-4-2, 7-2-1 CACC) is tied for second in the CACC and has clinched a program-record sixth straight trip to the conference tournament.

Coimbra ended his week with two goals and two assists over two matches.  He had two goals and an assist Saturday in Goldey-Beacom's 5-2 victory over Bloomfield after getting an assist Tuesday at Jefferson.

Also enjoying a solid campaign, Coimbra is seventh in the nation with seven assists, 40th with 0.44 assists per game and 56th with 19 points.  It is his second appearance this year on the Weekly Honor Roll, in addition to him on October 7 being tabbed CACC Player of the Week.

GBC (11-5, 8-2 CACC) is one victory away from tying the school record for most league wins and the squad is second in the CACC.  The Lightning are heading to the conference tournament for the fourth time in the last five years.

Both teams are in action next at Wilmington.  The women play Tuesday and the men compete Wednesday, both starting at 3:30 pm in Newark, DE.
