Goldey-Beacom in game one plated two runs in the top of the fourth inning to forge a 2-2 tie.  Cole Collins (Laurel, DE) lifted a sacrifice fly to score fellow sophomore Tevin Thomas (Dover, DE) and senior Ty Williams (Newark, DE) followed with an RBI single, plating Zach Roseman.

But the Bears took the lead for good, 4-2, in the last of the fourth when Tripp Hamrick laced a two-run double to plate Zach Shoemaker and Will Jones.

GBC in the top of the seventh down 5-2 got the first two runners on and had the tying run at the plate with none out.  Junior Brandon Abdul (Old Bridge, NJ) got senior Raul Perez-Duran (Trenton, NJ) home on a sacrifice fly to make it a two-run game, but the visitors could get no closer.

Senior Jay Smith (Zeeland, MI) closed with two hits to pace the Lightning.  Greentown, PA freshman Mitch Guerrieri (0-1) permitted four runs and five hits over four innings with three strikeouts and two walks.
