News and Notes• After finishing its four-match road trip with a 2-2 record, the Lightning volleyball team comes home this afternoon to face Caldwell University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match at the Joseph West Jones College Center ... It will be the first match of a three-match homestand for the Lightning, who have claimed three of their four home matches so far this year.
• Now 7-6 overall and 2-2 in the CACC, the Lightning have won six of their last nine matches after posting a three-set sweep over Cheyney University on Tuesday evening ... It marked the Lightning's second win over the Wolves this season after a three-set win on Sept. 13 at the Jones Center.
• The Lightning hit a season-high .382 in the win over Cheyney on Tuesday night after winning the match by set scores of 25-8, 25-6 and 25-8 ... They committed just eight attack errors while holding Cheyney to a -.171 hitting percentage ... Junior middle hitter
Innocent Early had one of her best outings of the season, recording 11 kills with a .588 hitting percentage ... She had just one attack error in 17 attempts.
• Meanwhile, the Lightning tallied 13 service aces in the win on Tuesday night, upping their CACC-leading total to 97 service aces in 13 matches ... Entering this week's matches, the Lightning lead the CACC and rank 15th in NCAA Division II in service aces ... They had a season-high 18 service aces against Cheyney on Sept. 13 in their three-set victory.

Kadi McCoy continues to lead the CACC with 177 kills in 13 matches while junior setter
Danielle Cipolletti has contributed 399 assists, which also leads the CACC.
• While McCoy has already accomplished the 1,000-kill mark for her career, she is also pursuing 1,000 digs for her career ... Entering Saturday's match, McCoy ranks 10th in school history with 861 career digs.
• Currently 6-6 overall and 2-1 in the CACC, the Cougars will be trying to return to their winning ways when they visit Goldey-Beacom this afternoon ... Caldwell had a three-match winning streak snapped on Wednesday night with a three-set loss against Dominican College in a CACC contest ... Senior setter

Taryn Auyong each had six kills.
• Auyong leads the Cougars with 106 kills in 12 matches while Nestoras has recorded a team-high 225 assists ... Meanwhile, senior defensive specialist
Jaclyn Del Cid has tallied 246 digs in 44 sets this season, an average of 5.59 digs per set.
• Caldwell leads the all-time series by a 7-1 margin and has won seven straight contests in the series ... Of the eight previous meetings between the two teams, seven of them have needed just three sets to complete.
• The Lightning will continue their three-match homestand on Tuesday night when they welcome Holy Family University to the Jones Center for a 7 p.m. CACC South Division match-up.
