Innocent Early (Eastside H.S./Newark, N.J.), the Goldey-Beacom College volleyball team hit a season-high .382 with just eight attack errors en route to posting a three-set non-conference victory over Cheyney University (1-9) at Cope Hall on Tuesday evening.
The Lightning, who improved to 7-6 on the season, claimed their second straight win by set scores of 25-8, 25-6 and 25-8.
Early tallied a match-high 11 kills with just one attack error in 17 attempts while senior outside hitter
Kadi McCoy (Dallastown H.S./Dallastown, Pa.) added eight kills with a .615 hitting percentage and a match-high 11 digs.
Junior setter
Danielle Cipolletti (Scottsdale H.S./Scottsdale, Ariz.) contributed 17 assists with nine digs while senior middle hitter
Taylor Moyer (Blue Mountain H.S./Schuylkill Haven, Pa.) posted six service aces with three kills.
