Updating the Lightning
After rallying to earn a 61-60 victory over Dominican on Saturday afternoon, the Lightning will bring an eight-game win streak into Tuesday's CACC South Division contest against the Rams. Now 18-8 overall and 15-2 in the CACC, the Lightning will host a CACC Tournament quarterfinal game on Mar. 2 at the Joseph West Jones College Center. Senior guard Ashley Rosario scored the game-winning basket on a lay-up as time expired as the Lightning overcame a six-point deficit in the second half to spoil the Chargers' Senior Day festivities. Rosario was one of three Goldey-Beacom players to score in double figures as senior forward Irene Hudson posted a game-high 21 points while senior guard Devonne Richardson added 10 points off the bench.
