WILMINGTON, Del. – Led by a goal and an assist from junior defender
Kaitlyn Hartkopf (Cherry Hill East H.S./Cherry Hill, N.J.), Georgian Court University (8-3-2, 7-0-2) erupted for five goals in the second half to earn its seventh win in the last 10 matches, a 5-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory over Goldey-Beacom College (1-9-1, 0-8-1) at the Lightning's Nancy Churchman-Sawin Field on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lions, who currently lead the CACC with a 7-0-2 record, scored five or more goals for the second time this season while handing the Lightning their third loss in the last four matches.
After a scoreless first half, the Lions took a 1-0 lead in the 54th minute when freshman midfielder
Tayler Bramley (Sparta H.S./Sparta, N.J.) converted a pair of quick passes from Hartkopf and sophomore midfielder
