WILMINGTON, Del. – Sophomore setter Alex Siolos (Westhampton Beach H.S./East Moriches, N.Y.) tallied a season-high 11 kills with 22 assists as Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference-leading Wilmington University (14-8, 9-1) earned its eighth win in the last nine matches with a four-set victory over Goldey-Beacom College (4-14, 0-10) at the Lightning's Joseph West Jones College Center on Tuesday evening.

The Wildcats, who have won four straight matches, posted the victory by set scores of 25-7, 17-25, 25-17 and 25-10.

Siolos, who recorded a season-high .526 hitting percentage in the victory, nearly recorded a "triple double" as she also collected nine digs with three blocks. It was her ninth "double double" of the season.

Meanwhile, sophomore outside hitter Kaitlin DiGiacinto (Old Mill H.S./Glen Burnie, Md.) added a "double double" with 11 kills and 15 digs while freshman outside hitter Allison Briley (Gateway H.S./Monroeville, Pa.) tallied a match-high 15 kills with 10 digs.

Senior libero Annie Scarfo (St. Elizabeth's H.S./Newark, Del.) anchored the Wildcats' defensive effort with a match-high 19 digs.

Junior outside hitter Kadi McCoy (Dallastown H.S./Dallastown, Pa.) led the Lightning in the loss by posting the first "triple double" of her college career. She tallied a team-high 13 kills with 13 digs and a career-high 15 assists.

Junior right side hitter Daphne Bistrimovich (Freehold H.S./Freehold, N.J.) contributed a team-high 14 digs while senior opposite Roni Peters (Leonardtown H.S./Leonardtown, Md.) tallied 13 assists with six kills and four digs.

The Lightning, who have not won since a four-set decision at Bowie State on Sept. 26, will travel to Chestnut Hill College on Thursday, Oct. 17 for a CACC match against the Griffins at 7 p.m. Meanwhile, the Wildcats will host Dominican College on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 12 p.m.
