LYNDHURST, N.J. - Making the first start as a goalkeeper in her college career, senior
Michelle Foster (Overbrook H.S./West Berlin, N.J.) made 16 saves, including three in the second overtime period, as Goldey-Beacom College (1-8-1, 0-7-1) battled Felician College (2-6-4, 1-3-4) to a scoreless draw in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex on Saturday evening.
The Lightning, who ended a two-match losing streak, earned their first scoreless tie since Oct. 9, 2004 when Goldey-Beacom and Dominican played to a 0-0 draw. It is the also the Lightning's first tie since Sept. 18, 2010 when they played in a 4-4 stalemate at Bloomfield College.
Led by Foster, the Lightning held off a 40-shot attack by the Golden Falcons, including 15 shots in each regulation period. After making five saves in the first half, Foster stopped seven shots by the Golden Falcons in the second half. She also made one save in the first overtime period before three more saves to preserve the tie.

Bjonda Ademi (Wayne Hills H.S./Wayne, N.J.) posted four saves for the Golden Falcons, who are unbeaten in their last three matches.
The Lightning will return home on Tuesday, Oct. 15 to face Georgian Court in a CACC match at 3 p.m. Meanwhile, the Golden Falcons will begin a three-match road trip at Concordia on Tuesday afternoon.
