BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – Junior midfielder Mikie Bradley (Jackson Memorial H.S./Jackson, N.J.) scored the game's only goal with one second remaining in the first half to lead Bloomfield College (1-0-0, 1-0-0) to a 1-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory over Goldey-Beacom College (0-3-0, 0-2-0) in the Deacons' season opener at Foley Field on Saturday afternoon.

Bradley, who was the Deacons' second-leading scorer last year with six goals and an assist, tallied her first goal of the season with a 25-yard shot to the far post to give Bloomfield a one-goal edge it did not relinquish.

Making her college debut, freshman goalkeeper Jaclyn Kosh (Brick Memorial H.S./Brick, N.J.) earned the first shutout of her college career by making seven saves.

Senior goalkeeper Alyssa Vetrano (Shore Regional H.S./Ocean, N.J.) made five saves in a losing effort for the Lightning, who have been limited to one goal in their three matches this season.

Goldey-Beacom will start a three-match homestand on Tuesday afternoon when they face Wilmington University in a CACC contest at 3 p.m.
