WILMINGTON, Del. - Looking to finish their three-match homestand on a positive note, the Lightning women's soccer team will try to earn its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory of the season by hosting Chestnut Hill on Wednesday afternoon at the Kirkwood Soccer Complex at 3 p.m.
Now 0-5-0 overall and 0-4-0 in the CACC, the Lightning will be looking to rebound after dropping a 3-1 decision against Felician on Saturday afternoon at the Kirkwood Soccer Complex.

Danielle Semenza (Hazleton Area H.S./Hazle Township, Pa.) scored her first goal of the season in the 31st minute off assists from sophomore forward
Alexandra Smith (Pennsville Memorial H.S./Pennsville, N.J.) and freshman forward
Tiffany Kelly (Parsippany H.S./Parsippany, N.J.) to trim the Lightning's deficit to 2-1, but the Golden Falcons added an insurance goal in the second half to secure the victory.

Carly DiGiovanni (Ocean City H.S./Seaville, N.J.) led the Griffins to the victory with the first "hat trick" of her college career after scoring three goals in the victory. The Griffins jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of the second half and never looked back en route to the victory.
DiGiovanni is the Griffins' leading scorer with five goals and an assist while junior forward
Kaelyn Pizarro (Eastern Regional H.S./Berlin, N.J.) has contributed a goal with two assists. Senior goalkeeper
Jessica Veazey (Middletown H.S./Middletown, Del.) has started all six games for the Griffins this season, stopping 78.6 per cent of the shots she has faced while posting a 2.62 goals against average.
The Lightning will be looking to avenge a 4-1 loss against the Griffins last year as

After Wednesday's game, the Lightning will travel to Dominican on Saturday afternoon to face the Chargers in the first game of a soccer doubleheader at 12 p.m.
