Picard led five players in double figures with 20 points and career-high 10 rebounds in leading Goldey-Beacom College past Nyack College, 101-72 at the Joseph West Jones Center to move within a half-game of first place. 15 points and nine rebounds - initiated the run with a slam dunk, then kicked off a 21-7 second-half blitz with a 3-pointer as the lead expanded to 71-47 with 12:35 to play. Picard's steal and lay-up capped the spree, and the margin ranged between 19 and 29 points the remainder of the contest as Goldey scored a season high in points and improved its record to 12-9 (9-3 in the CACC).
Jordan Brooks (15 points, personal-best 12 assists, four steals) and
Tariq Uqdah (12 points, 10
rebounds) both recorded double-doubles in the win, while rookie guard
Curtis Hopkins tallied 12 points in 14 bench minutes. Jose Pena-Benjamin led four men in double figures with 21 points and nine rebounds for Nyack (0-22, 0-12 CACC). The Lightning dominated the stat page, especially in the shooting (53%-37%), rebounding (48-31) and assist
(23-10) categories. They also outscored the Warriors in the paint (46-22), on the break (8-0), on second chances (20-6) and off turnovers
