With the Lightning: First-year transfer out of Montgomery College...very skilled, athletic forward who can make his teammates better with his passing abilities...extremely versatile and a strong rebounder...has quickly become a leader on the team.
With Montgomery College: NJCAA Region XX and District 8 Champions...ranked 4th in NJCAA Division III with a 26-8 overall finish...earned All-Maryland Juco Honors...Second Team All-Region XX Juco and 2008 NJCAA All-Tournament Honors.
Personal: Tariq Uqdah ['Tah-reek 'Ook-duh]...teammates call him "Riq"...chose to attend GBC for its business program...chose to play Division II athletics at GBC because of Coach Dussault...enjoys hanging out with family and friends and going on road trips...describes himself as "scary."
