PIKE CREEK, Del. – After heading into halftime down just 1-0, the Goldey-Beacom College women's soccer team unraveled in the second half, allowing four more Tiger goals, as the host Lightning lost to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference foe, Holy Family, 5-0 on Tues. afternoon at Nancy Churchman-Sawin Field.

Sophomore forward Kelly Williams had an excellent chance to tie the score right before halftime when she side-stepped a Holy Family defender who over-pursued the play and took a strike from about seven yards out, but she hit the crossbar and the Lightning came up empty.

Holy Family wasted little time in adding a cushion to its one-goal lead. Amanda Trabosh, who scored the Tigers' first goal, found an open Kelsey Marvill for the second goal of the day just over a minute into the second stanza.

Jillian Shank connected on a thru ball to Dawn Curry for the third goal at 53:05, followed by an unassisted header goal by Lindsay Fisher at 59:04. Megan Tole scored off a cross from Melissa Benson for the fifth and final goal at 68:53.

The Tigers, who have now won four straight games, outshot GBC 29-6 for the day. Gina Mansi made two saves to preserve the shutout victory.
