Goldey-Beacom College fell to Neumann University, 3-0, on the road Wednesday evening in Aston, PA.
Neumann opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Harry Beugre found the back of the net. Just four minutes later, Mikey Brown added to the Knights' lead, scoring off an assist from Tim Koke. Neumann added its final goal in the 43rd minute when Or Megnazi scored off assists from Chase Money and Chase Dougherty.
Both teams recorded 11 shots. For the Lightning, junior Sam Ball (Salisbury, MD) led the way with six shots and freshman Yuma Reichert (Offenbach, Germany) added two. Sophomore Trevor Sullivan (Camden, DE), freshman Roland Weise (Santa Cruz, Bolivia)Â and sophomore Andres Romero (Laurel, DE) each recorded one shot.
Sophomore Adham Mohamed (West Windsor, NJ) made two saves for the Lightning and Seiya Sato recorded eight for the Knights.
Goldey-Beacom will host Monroe University at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Nancy Churchman Sawin Field for its final non-conference game of the season.
