4/21/2026 12:00:00 AM

Goldey-Beacom this week saw junior Jalen Wright (Wilmington, DE) picked Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week for a third straight week with freshman Anna Pissarotti named the league's Women's Track Rookie of the Week.

Wright won the 400-meter hurdles last weekend at the Paul Donohue Invitational, closing in 52.80 seconds.  That time is the 32nd best in the country this season and provisionally qualifies him for the NCAA Championship.

Wright today also received news that he is headed to the prestigious Penn Relays in the 400-meter hurdles.  He will compete this Thursday with the first heat beginning at 5:50 pm.

Last season, Wright was named CACC Men's Track Athlete of the Year and USTFCCCA All-East Region.

Pissarotti ended this in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in 1:02.51.  It was her 10th top-10 finish of the season.
