Goldey-Beacom Track and Field teams competed at the Paul Donahue Invitational in Chester, PA over the course of two days and had strong showings from both the men and the women.

For the men, in the 200-meter dash, junior Jose Cornejo (Sinaloa, Mexico) placed 12th with a time of 22.07 seconds, senior Chris Robinson (Philadelphia, PA) finished 36th with 22.81 seconds, and senior Kedar Reid (Bear, DE) finished with a time of 23.12 seconds. In the 400-meter dash, junior Jalen Wright (Wilmington, DE) finished sixth overall with a time of 47.57 seconds, Robinson finished 24th with 49.88 seconds, junior Bostwick Patten (Middletown, DE) placed 26th with 49.98 seconds, sophomore David Yunga (Philadelphia, PA) had a time of 51.98 seconds, Reid finished in 52.36 seconds, and freshman Quran McCoy (Mays Landing, NJ) finished with a time of 52.95 seconds. Wright grabbed first place overall in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 52.80 seconds, while Yunga finished 16th with 55.81 seconds. 

The 800-meter run saw freshman Cardin Benjamin (Lewes, DE) have a time of 2:03.73 and sophomore Matt Haight (Bear, DE) finish with 2:14.68. Freshman Raine Siwicki (Martinsville, VA) had a time of 4:35.02 in the 1500-meter run. In the field events, freshman Tony Huynh (Silver Spring, MD) placed 30th in shot put with a throw of 10.70m.

For the women, in the 100-meter dash, junior Tania Alfaro (San Jose, Costa Rica) placed 14th with a time of 12.56 seconds, sophomore Narlia Albert (Vieux Fort, St. Lucia) had a time of 13.63 seconds, and sophomore Lara Zinsou-Bodé (Reinbek, Germany) finished with 13.89 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, sophomore Ryley Dixon (Pilesgrove, NJ) placed fifth with a time of 24.48 seconds, Alfaro finished 24th with 26.27 seconds, Albert had a time of 27.83 seconds, and sophomore Aiyana Adams (Pittsburgh, PA) finished in 27.88 seconds. In the 400-meter dash, Dixon finished second overall with a time of 56.71 seconds and Adams placed 26th with 1:03.02. The 400-meter hurdles saw freshman Anna Pissarotti (Italy) finish third overall with a time of 1:02.51. Sophomore Tess Pearce (Manchester, England) finished with a time of 19:38.81 in the 5000m run.

In the field events, senior Jourdyn Rumph (Ardmore, PA) placed third in discus throw with a throw of 37.43m, sixth in hammer throw with a throw of 44.19m, and sixth in shot put with a throw of 11.47m. Freshman Ana Thaler (Ljubljana, Slovenia) grabbed second place in discus throw with a throw of 38.55m and placed 15th in javelin with a throw of 28.92m

Goldey-Beacom competes next at Haverford Invitational for a mid-week meet on Tuesday in Haverford, PA.
