Tre Powell Named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll a Fifth Time This Season

Goldey-Beacom sophomore Tre Powell (Mount Laurel, NJ) once again put his name in the spotlight by being picked to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll a fifth time on the season.

Powell averaged 16.0 points and 5.5 assists over two games and shot 12-for-13 from the foul line over two games. He scored 17 points and went 7-for-7 from the line Wednesday in Goldey-Beacom's 105-88 triumph over Franklin Pierce. Powell then netted 15 points Saturday at Bridgeport.

A dynamic scorer who continues to amaze, Powell has scored in double figures 12 of the Lightning's 14 games and at least 20 points five times. He is fifth in the league with 17.1 points per game, third with 4.8 assists per contest, fourth with an .829 free throw percentage, eighth with a .388 three-point percentage, 10th with 1.9 three-pointers per contest and 11th with a 1.5 assist/turnover ratio.

Goldey-Beacom on Tuesday is at Georgian Court for a 2:00 pm game.
