Goldey-Beacom's women's soccer traveled to Lincoln University, PA for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match and picked up its second win of the season, 3-0, over Lincoln (PA).

The Lightning started the game strong, scoring in the 14th minute when sophomore Tess Pearce (Manchester, England) assisted fellow sophomore Ryley Dixon (Pilesgrove, N.J.). The Lightning found the back of the net again in the 34th minute when junior Lexy Yeager (West Deptford, N.J.) scored the unassisted goal for a 2-0 lead. On the defensive end, GBC shut down its opponent and allowed zero shots in the first half.

The second half remained quiet until the final minute, when Pearce once again connected with Dixon for the Lightning's third goal.  The defense for Goldey-Beacom again held strong in the second half, allowing only one shot in 90 minutes.

Nevaeh Washington finished with 13 saves for Lincoln (PA).

Goldey-Beacom plays next on Saturday, when it hosts Felician for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game at noon at Nancy Churchman Sawin Field in Wilmington, DE.
