Esports Announces 2025 Fall Schedule

Goldey-Beacom has announced its Esports schedule for the 2025 fall campaign.

The Lightning this season will debut in Rocket League and it will be sanctioned by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. GBC, in its second year competing in Esports, once again will be a CACC team in Marvel Rivals and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate.

Goldey-Beacom also will partake in Valorant in the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC). The squad this season has moved up to Division IV in the Northeast B Division.

GBC last spring in Valorant went 6-1 in the regular season, grabbing fourth place in the Division VII Northeast B Division. The squad then got a bid into the 16-team NECC Division VII National Tournament before it lost to top-seeded New England College in the first round.

In Marvel Rivals, Goldey-Beacom last spring went 6-0 in the regular season with five victories resulting in a 3-0 score. In Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, GBC advanced to the CACC final in both the fall and spring.

Goldey-Beacom's first match is Monday against RIT White in Valorant NECC.
