Cross Country Hits the Trails at the Delaware Invitational

Goldey-Beacom continued its 2025 campaign by making the short trip to Newark for the Delaware Invitational.
 
Senior Kosiani Dunkley (Saint Catherine, Jamaica) again was a factor in closing fourth, stopping the clock in 27:46.4, and junior John Ferry (Rising Sun, MD) was sixth in 27:50.4.  For both, it was their third top-10 finish of the season in as many races.
 
Manny Carreno (New Castle, DE) ended 26th in 31:15.9, fellow sophomore Aquillino Rozanski (Olympia, WA) closed 39th in 33:50.0, sophomore Jayden Bantum (Lansdowne, PA) was 41st in 33:58.5 and freshman Raine Siwicki (Martinsville, VA) finished 42nd in 34:05.8.
 
Goldey-Beacom ended the eight-kilometer race fourth with 93 points and Wilmington was first with 37.
 
Senior Haley Schofield (Wilmington, DE) closed 31st in the women's race in 22:24.7, freshman Lara Zinsou-Bodé (Reinbek, Germany) was 50th in 25:55.8 and sophomore Aiyanna Adams (Pittsburgh, PA) ended 55th in 26:49.1.  Anna Pissarotti finished 56th in 26:52.9, fellow freshman Ana Thaler closed 67th in 29:09.4 and senior Kaylah Hill (Brooklyn, NY) was 68th in 29:09.4.
 
Goldey-Beacom was sixth overall and fifth among colleges/universities with 179 points.  Towson won the five-kilometer race with 23 points.
 
The Lightning on October 3 will be at the prestigious Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, PA.
